About the project

Karesansui is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Japanese dry garden. Designed as an exploration of stillness and contemplation, the project combines restrained architecture with carefully composed landscapes, where stone, water, planting and light work together to create a series of calm, immersive spaces. The accompanying film explores how the atmosphere of the garden evolves throughout changing weather and light.
